Creamy Tomato Pasta with Burrata

Ingredients

Linguine pasta400 g
Tomato basil sauce400 g
Yellow onion1
Garlic2 cloves
Liquid cream200 ml
Burrata2
Fresh basil (optional)4 sprigs
Olive oil4 tsp

Preparation

1.

In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. At the end of cooking, reserve a small ladle of the cooking water, then drain the pasta.

Meanwhile, peel and thinly slice the onion.

Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and grated garlic. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.

Add the tomato sauce and cream. Mix and continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes over low heat.

Add the drained pasta and the reserved cooking water if needed. Mix well.

6.

Serve the creamy tomato pasta on a plate. Add the burrata on top. Adjust the seasoning to taste and add a few basil leaves if you have some. It's ready!
