Pasta with Tuna, Cherry Tomatoes & Feta

Ingredients

Rigatoni pasta400 g
Tuna in water320 g
Cherry tomatoes400 g
Pitted black olives60 g
Basil tomato sauce320 g
Garlic1 clove
Feta120 g
Fresh basil (optional)4 sprigs
Olive oil4 tsp

Preparation

1.

In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. At the end of cooking, reserve a small ladle of the cooking water, then drain.

Meanwhile, wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in half.

Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the cherry tomatoes and grated garlic. Season with salt and pepper.

Add the tomato sauce, olives and drained tuna. Mix, cover and cook for 7 to 8 minutes over low heat.

Once the tomatoes have softened, add the drained pasta and the reserved cooking water. Mix well.

6.

Serve the tuna and cherry tomato pasta in a deep plate. Sprinkle with crumbled feta on top and a few fresh basil leaves if you have some. Adjust the seasoning to taste, it's ready!
